Las Casonas de Avellaneda

A handy spot near Navia, with a good sized room and a nice public garden and lounge. The breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was some guests getting up very early and making a lot of noise.

Nuria made us feel at home with her excellent hospitality, and from the start she shared all sorts of useful tips for exploring the area. We spent a week here and everything was wonderful. The breakfasts were excellent, and our room was comfortable and spacious. The lovely garden and well-equipped terrace were perfect for relaxing or having snacks. It's a fantastic base for exploring the whole western part of the country and even crossing into Galicia. Thank you so much, Nuria.

Nuria was warm and friendly with us, and we'd love to return. The hotel was impeccably clean, with very comfortable beds for a good night's sleep and a fantastic shower with great water pressure. Breakfast was delicious. The garden is lovely for relaxing with a book, a beer, or breakfast. I wasn't travelling with my dog this time, but I noticed and appreciated the care and respect shown to the dogs staying here.

Nuria, who manages the hotel, was a delight and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. I'll definitely be back soon. The setting just outside Navia is beautiful, and the cozy house has a lovely patio for breakfast or a quiet afternoon in nature. Rooms are spacious and spotless. If you bring a dog, they'll treat it like part of the family.
