The Camino de Fisterra runs right by this place, and it’s handy for everything nearby: a decent supermarket is a minute away, with a launderette across the road, greengrocer close by, and a Santander cash machine nearby. We had a really lovely stay. The owners were friendly and helpful, the beds were comfortable, and there were nice blankets. The shower was good, though you have to press a button. The kitchen was well equipped apart from one thing: there was no fridge.

I did sleep well, so that part was fine, and the kitchen was okay. The supermarket is a minute away and there’s a launderette opposite. But after 24 nights, this was the worst albergue I stayed in for €12. It was about as good as one I paid €3 for, only with worse showers. There was just one toilet, tucked in a corner on the floor with no lock, and the shower facilities were really poor, with only warm water. The place was freezing too. Two stars because it was very poor compared with other albergues at the same price.

The lady there was super friendly, and the place felt peaceful, maybe helped by how quiet it was during my stay. It’s very simple, though. The facilities are basic and don’t seem enough for a large hostel. I had a good experience.

For €12 you get a bunk in a place with a hippy vibe, shared showers, and just one toilet. That doesn’t seem like a good setup for a hostel with a lot of guests.
