It's an unfrilly little hotel, definitely three-star. The welcome wasn't especially warm, but the place was more than adequate for our stay, and breakfast did the job for a morning refuel. Our room was neat and clean. It's worn and old in spots, sure, but it has that quaint Spanish charm.

My family and I only used the cafeteria. We had lunch there every day and all the food was absolutely amazing. Definitely worth visiting to eat here!

I wouldn't suggest staying here with children. The pool is treated as a quiet area and swimming isn't allowed, which rather defeats the point of going with kids. The hotel itself felt more like a motel to me, and the air conditioning didn't work properly, making the stay uncomfortable. Service could be much better too. One gentleman was kind and helpful, but the rest of the female staff seemed dismissive when I asked for help. I might recommend it for a quick overnight stop, but not for a weekend.

The bedroom had no windows, and with it being 40°C in August, the air conditioning not working properly made it hard to stay there, especially to sleep. Cleaning wasn't great either, the floor and shower were dirty. Breakfast was alright.

We had a three-course daily menu with drinks for under euros! The chicken was tender and juicy, and the chocolate mousse rich and creamy. A good place to eat, and really close to nerja caves.
