The house was lovely and spacious, clean, and well equipped. The games room was a nice extra. The pool was good too, though it loses the sun in the late afternoon. We stayed in May and really enjoyed our time there, so we'll definitely return. There was some building work nearby, which wasn't great if you wanted a quiet day by the pool. It wasn't happening every day, and the noise varied. Weekends were lovely and quiet. When it was noticeable, we went out for the day, so it didn't spoil our stay. For getting around, the Balcon is a 45-minute walk, with an uphill walk back. The hourly bus is a ten-minute walk away, and it was efficient and cheap. The huge local Lidl was well stocked and only ten minutes away on foot.
