A super two-bedroom place, with en-suite bathrooms and an open-plan living room and kitchen. There's a private balcony as well as a rooftop sun lounge. The communal areas were ultra clean, and the gardens around the large, crisp-clean kidney-shaped pool were well maintained. There are two bars for food and drinks by the pool. Local taxis are great, and buses run regularly into town.

We had an amazing, relaxing holiday in our apartment at San Juan de capristano. Christian hosted us through smile house rentals and was fantastic. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, plus a small supermarket, and the bus stop right outside takes you into nerja town for €1. The area is beautifully maintained and the views are lovely. We can't wait to return, and we'd fully recommend both the apartment and smile house rentals.

We're back for our second stay in apartment 16, and it was just as good as ever. The views stretch over the town to the sea, with the mountains behind us. What's not to like?!
