We stopped here for one night on the way to and back from Gibraltar. The restaurant had excellent food and a lovely atmosphere, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Our room was very nice, with a roomy balcony and a good view. Happy hour runs for four hours. There isn't much else around, but it worked well for a short stay.

We had a large, clean room that suited us well, though for two people there was only one bath towel and two hand towels. Staff were pleasant, and breakfast was adequate. The main issue was the service setup: during our two-day stay the reception desk was never staffed, and bar staff handled reception instead. We arrived on a Tuesday, when the restaurant was closed, so the only food they could offer at the hotel was a heated pizza. Given how far it is from town, there are better-value places closer in. The hotel promises more than it delivers.

The pool is small, but quiet and clean, and the first-floor rooms have a terrace view of both the mountains and the sea. There's plenty of space in the clean rooms, and the hotel sits in a nice neighborhood. Breakfast bread was still warm. We had to leave early, so they also gave us some food to take along. Nerja is.... :)
