Boutique Rooms Playa Burriana

The weather was great, and the beach and restaurants were all within walking distance. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Tess, our host, was amazing, so helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

The beach is only a three-minute walk away, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. I liked being in a quieter part of Nerja, away from the busy centre, and the walk into town for dinner was worth it. The rooms are modern and beautiful, with comfortable beds and a great shower, and there’s a nice pool too.

We only stayed one night, so we didn’t get to use the little porch with its table and two chairs, but it was a lovely extra. The room itself was adorable and very clean, with a comfy bed, mini fridge, and a great shower head. Tess welcomed us with a quick tour and helpful tips for our short visit. She also sent useful information as we needed it, and there was a folder of local recommendations in the room. Both the beach, with its shops and restaurants, and the city centre are a short walk away, with lovely views and plenty of places to eat and shop. We’d happily stay here again if we return to Nerja. Cozy, clean, and the hosts were wonderful.

The price is hard to beat, and I found the hotel just right for me. The rooms are spacious and gorgeous, and getting the keys from a lockbox was easy. It’s close to Burriana beach and its restaurants, while the city centre and its crowds are about a 15-20 minute walk away. The pool is very small, though everyone staying there was considerate of one another. Since the hostal doesn’t serve breakfast, there are suggestions in the room for restaurants and breakfast spots. I would have liked body lotion and an extra towel for the pool.
