Charming Nerja Hostel

The terrace was the one good part for me. I was shocked by how bad the place was, especially after reading the other reviews. There was strange hair all over the supposedly fresh bed, and the owner and general atmosphere felt very weird. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. There are better options, so don’t waste your time.

I’m heading back for my third stay soon, which probably says it all. This is honestly one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Christian has thought of everything. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the private rooms are great value if, like me, you’ve had enough of dorms but still want the hostel atmosphere instead of a hotel. The terrace and kitchen are fantastic, and there’s a good mix of ages and kinds of travellers. Even at 40, I felt completely at home. Well done, Christian!

I spent a month here and felt at home the whole time. The rooms, kitchen, and terrace were clean and had everything I needed. The beach, shops, restaurants, bars, and bus stop are all about a 5-10 minute walk away. Cristian made me feel so welcome that I already miss the place. I’d highly recommend it and will definitely come back.

My friend and I are both 16, and the hostel let us stay in a private room with a shared bathroom, which was so amazing. Our room was cleaned very well once for free, and it had helpful air conditioning, a wardrobe, and a pretty window. The place felt safe, secure, and homely. It’s close to the center, the smaller streets, and the beach. Everything was clean and tidy, including the rooms. There are plenty of shared bathrooms, they worked well, and they were cleaned every day. The decor is so pretty, too. The owner was lovely and welcoming when we arrived, and greeted us whenever we saw him. Thankyou so much, charming nerja hostel. I had the most amazing time and would definitely stay again. 🌺🌺🌺
