Our August 2023 stay spoiled the holiday, and I wouldn't stay here again. When I tried to book directly, they hung up on me twice. Our room's air conditioning didn't work in 35-degree heat. The receptionist said nothing could be done and wouldn't move us or fix it. After we contacted the company we booked through, we were moved, despite staff having told us a room change wasn't possible. The air conditioning in the new room was poor too. We were told the system was very old and there was nothing they could do. On our last day, we left our suitcases at the hostel after checkout, but when we needed to catch our flight there were no staff around to let us get them. We nearly missed the flight. The woman at reception had a terrible attitude and no customer service skills. The cleaning staff, on the other hand, were great and clearly tried their best. There was also a dead cockroach in the bathroom extractor fan, which was full of dust.

For the price, it was very good, and the beach is a ten-minute walk away. The room and bathroom were clean, though the bathtub was a bit grubby. There was no kettle in the room, and the Wi-Fi was very poor, almost nonexistent. Street noise didn't bother us after a few pints of Guinness.

We got good value for what we paid. The place was perfectly clean, and the staff were very friendly. Our street-facing room was a bit noisy at night, and the bathroom could use another shelf.

A clean, quiet place at a very reasonable price, ideal for a couple of days. Bars, restaurants, and the beach are all easy to reach.

The hostel was very clean, and the staff were friendly and responsive. Its location is wonderful, close to both the beaches and the centre.
