We spent nine nights at Hostal Boutique Plaza Cantarero in a beautiful deluxe room. The place has hotel services, but we could also prepare food ourselves, which we loved. There was a large fridge on the roof terrace, and Tania had thought through the practical little details, including picnic baskets waiting on arrival. The French vintage chic decor, super king-size bed and quality pillows made the room feel special. Everything was kept immaculate by the hard-working cleaners, and the location made it easy to walk everywhere. The roof terrace was gorgeous. We didn't miss having a pool since we'd rather go to the beach, and found stunning coves within an easy walk. As good as a 3 or 4 star hotel, and better than many. Definitely recommend it.

We stayed in two rooms, one large and one small, and both were lovely. The host was charming, and the place is just a few minutes' walk from the town center while still being in a really quiet spot. I can't recommend it enough.

The roof terrace is fabulous, with room to sunbathe and a fridge for keeping food and drinks. Tanya was lovely to deal with and happy to answer questions. Our room was small, but spotless, with free air conditioning, a safe and a little Juliet balcony. We'd highly recommend staying here and will be back.

The roof terrace really tops the place off. Tanya is a perfect host, and her hotel is beautifully designed with thoughtful details everywhere. The rooms are lovely, beds super comfortable and everything spotlessly clean. It's in a wonderful location too. Our favourite place to stay in Nerja, and we can't wait to return.

The location made it easy to walk everywhere, even though the hotel is just a little away from the main town center. Tanya and her team were very friendly, and the hotel was beautiful and really clean. We especially enjoyed the roof terrace, with plenty of space to relax.
