Boutique Hostal Lorca

I'm a solo traveler from the UK, and I can't say enough about this beautiful place. It's such a lovely, peaceful oasis, and so comfortable. Amber and Julien are fabulous and speak lots of different languages too 😊 If you get the chance to stay here, book it. You won't be disappointed. Thank you both for taking such good care of me, you glorious couple 🌹

We had a wonderful four nights at hostal Lorca. The courtyard is a little oasis, a lovely spot for a few quiet minutes and a cool dip out of the hot sun. Julian and Amber have created a fantastic home-from-home, and the hotel is very clean and brilliantly located, just a five-minute stroll from the town center and everything you need. The rooms are basic, but very clean and comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to book again on our next visit to Nerja.

The garden and pool are relaxing places to spend time, and the communal kitchen is nice too. The beds are good, and the simple rooms stay cool in this old stone building, so a roof fan is enough and air conditioning isn't needed. It's a very good location, close to my favourite tapas bar, La Puntilla. La Marina is also very good for seafood tapas in a local atmosphere. Amber and Julien, the owners of Hostal Lorca, are lovely and always around if you need help. My favourite place to stay in Nerja.

The pool and patio felt like a tropical retreat, and they provided pool towels that we could take to the beach, about a 10-minute walk away. A grocery store is just three minutes away, with fantastic restaurants and shops all around. The building is beautifully decorated, and guests can use the shared kitchen with its fridge and microwave. They even made fresh coffee for guests and put out fruit in the mornings. Our family spent a week at Hostal Lorca, and Amber and Julien were the best hosts we've ever had, even after traveling all over the world. Their kindness and attention to detail made us feel right at home. Our room looked onto a charming street and had a small, lovely balcony. The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and there was plenty of space, with a large closet, desk and chair, without the room feeling cramped. The bathroom was clean, well-equipped and had all the essentials. We've only just left and already can't wait to come back!
