We stayed here in March 2025 and were pleasantly surprised, especially after reading the reviews and having some reservations. It's close to the beach, shops and restaurants, and about a 10-minute walk to the town centre. The studio with a balcony had everything we needed. Nothing flash, but good value for money. The place was great, and the rooms, beds and bathroom were all spotless.

Six of us booked three apartments for a birthday visit because the price was economical. We went in with low expectations, but the stay beat them, and we're planning to book again next October. If you want a clean, comfortable base in Nerja, this worked well for us. The location was handy, with a supermarket right outside and another within 20 meters. Rainbow steps and lots of places to eat were close by. The ship pub opposite the RIU Hotel was a one-minute walk away and had amazing staff. Our apartment was clean, everything worked, and the single beds were comfortable enough. Two people in our group had balcony apartments, while ours was inside with a stairwell view. The pool area was spotless. I'd read complaints about needing to ask for a key, but reception is right by the pool and they gave us access straight away. We took a few drinks down before heading out. The pool gets sun from early afternoon until early evening. All the staff were friendly and we had no issues. It wasn't luxurious, but we hadn't expected that, given what we paid.

A real bargain for the location, within walking distance of the heart of Nerja. The rooms are basic but enough. You'll need to bring or buy your own toilet paper, dish soap and similar things. Renovations were happening during our off-season visit, so I'm sure it looks even lovelier now.

The main plus is that it's close to the beach. Otherwise, if you can afford somewhere else, I'd stay there, or at least book a room with a balcony, which might be a better standard. The hotel pool is more like a pond, there's no place for loungers, and you need a key from reception to get in. But there's never anyone at reception. We stayed a week. Housekeeping came just once to change the towels, and left our room unlocked. The rooms are very outdated and run-down. Our self-catering apartment was tiny, with a prison-cell feel, though it did have a new bathroom. It was noisy too. There was no balcony, and our view was the staircase. The beds and especially the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. I wouldn't book again, partly because if it were hot, I wouldn't use the air con: it looked about 50 years old and smelled of mould. Bring your own toiletries, including toilet paper. The kitchen had a kettle, microwave, hob, fridge, a few cooking items and a tea towel.
