The staff were friendly and pleasant, and the room was spacious, clean, and neatly arranged. Its natural colours made it feel calm and welcoming, and the bed was a good size and very comfortable. We spent two nights in Nerja in rainy weather, but the accommodation made up for it. A lovely spot to relax whatever the weather.

Right in the heart of town, this boutique hostal has a good sized pool, lovely showers, a veranda, and a sunbathing area that give it the feel of somewhere less central. The staff were warm and accommodating, and the place was spotless and modern. Our room had a smart flat screen TV and a small but handy chiller for cold drinks. A wonderful hostal in an excellent location!

I stayed a few nights on my own and felt very safe. The front desk staff were friendly, and the hotel has a beautiful, clean minimalist style with lots of natural light. It’s an affordable and really convenient base in Nerja, a few minutes’ walk from the ocean, the main square, and the balcony of Europe. There are plenty of good restaurants and coffee shops nearby. You can watch both sunrise and sunset from the balcony of Europe!

The room was comfortable, and the parking was a real plus. But the hot water was badly managed. Something was wrong with the geyser, so the shower would suddenly blast boiling water even when set to medium. It was scary, and none of us could shower comfortably. After a day out, we expected to be able to take a shower, but that didn’t work for us :(

The pool area and sunbeds were spotless, and the beds were really comfortable. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, and the location is ideal. From the moment we walked into Nerja VG Hostal, it felt beautifully clean and welcoming. The staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us. We can’t recommend staying here highly enough.
