We spent two weeks in 509 through Nerja Beach Holidays, the booking agency. Karine Lievin-Forder, the company’s owner and manager, was our contact. It was a very disappointing stay, and the photos only show part of it. They can’t capture how the bed, pillows and comforter smelled. There were ants in the apartment, mold on the clothes drying rack and in the shower, and a stained ceiling. The bed smelled of sweaty previous guests, and the pillows were very hard and uncomfortable. Towels and bed linens were stained, as was the towel warmer. We also found dried food on plates, cups and cutlery. The toilet and towel hooks were broken, and there weren’t enough supplies, including trash bags. On our last day, we were told to take out our own trash. This was nothing like we expected. It was so disappointing. Have a look at the pictures and decide whether this is acceptable for a Costa del Sol holiday. We won’t stay here again, especially with so many other places to choose from.
