The bedrooms got quite warm at night with the doors shut, since air conditioning is only in the main living space. The road to the villa is very tight and steep in places, and although it’s close to a motorway, we barely noticed it. The gardens and outdoor seating are lovely, with nice countryside views.

Set between Nerja and Frigiliana, the house is well located and peaceful, even with some distant highway noise. The rooms are very spacious, and the garden is lovely, with a small pool. It’s comfortable and well equipped, but the furniture and bathrooms could do with some basic maintenance. Getting there is a little tricky.

The garden and pool are nice, and the house has plenty of space, but it’s nothing special overall. The beds are poor and the amenities are very limited. Air conditioning is only in the living room, with none in the other bedrooms. The location is the biggest problem: it’s isolated, and the access is awful, along a 1.5 km dirt track that feels impassable, far from civilization.

It’s a lovely, luxurious house, and the pool is nice too. A few things could be improved, like adding an awning over the porch and curtains for the bathtubs. I’d come back.
