Villa Kenny Private Pool Casasol

That pool is easily the best part of Villa Kenny: spotless, with tidy artificial grass and sun loungers, and someone came by weekly to look after it. We spent 15 days there in July. The house has the basics and was generally fine, but its age shows. The closets had a strong damp smell, which had got into the bedding too. The mattresses and pillows were the biggest problem. The two single beds had only thin mats, about four fingers thick, and after 15 days on those, you can imagine. The pillows were so bad that sleeping without them was preferable. There’s a garage below the main bedroom terrace that several companies rent for storing materials. Vans arrive to unload at 8 a.m., so expect a “natural alarm clock.” The barbecue was tiny and in very poor condition, though we made do. With a few small repairs this could be a perfect house. If those issues aren’t fixed, I’d think twice before returning.
