The house was clean and average, and the pool was the best part. In summer, though, the downstairs gets incredibly hot because there’s no air conditioning. You can also hear traffic at night with the highway so close. There are three ways to reach the house: one road is in really bad shape, while the other two are dirt tracks with potholes and steep slopes. My stay didn’t match what I’d expected.
The house itself is pleasant, but the highway is only fifty metres away, with cars and trucks passing constantly, day and night. The beds need replacing, dogs bark every night, and there aren’t enough cooking utensils. The owner should be upfront about the road and include photos showing it running directly above the house.
It was okay, but the air conditioner only stays on for up to two hours at a time. Every night it switched itself off, so I’d wake up sweating and have to set it again for another two hours...
A lovely place, though hard to reach and there are no signs.
It’s peaceful there, but the access road is poor.
