Apartamentos Silken Fontibre Iberia Spa

We spent four nights here while heading to the Santander ferry, about an hour away. The lakes nearby are a nice ride out, with cafes and picnic spots along the way, and take around 90 minutes to go around. Our apartment was really big and clean, with a comfortable bed, fitted kitchen and large bathroom. There was secure parking for the motorcycle, and the staff were friendly. A Carrefour mini market is about a ten-minute walk away. We'd definitely stay again.

The pool and spa age limit was the only thing I wasn't happy with. I didn't think it was fair that only kids aged 12 and up could use them. Otherwise, it was a great place to stop and relax. There were lots of restaurants nearby, the towels were so soft we would have bought them, the TV was very good, and the bed was really comfy.

It's very quiet on the outskirts of a small town, though there aren't any shops nearby. Parking was convenient, the lobby was simply and comfortably laid out, and the friendly staff sorted out problems quickly. The rooms are spacious, but the cleanliness could have been better, especially in the kitchen area. The refrigerator smelled particularly awful.

We were in a standard room with a balcony. The bed and pillows were really comfortable, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The apartment was fantastic, spacious and nicely decorated, with pretty much everything we needed. We cooked all our meals there, though we missed having a toaster and had to make toast in a frying pan or use the microwave grill. There also wasn't a capsule coffee machine.
