The location is handy, right along the Camino, though getting there means climbing a hill. From outside it looks nice, but inside the rooms feel old and a bit unsettling. I kept thinking there might be haunted twins down the hall. The bathrooms are okay, but could use a renovation along with the rooms. The sink has separate hot and cold taps, which is awkward and can leave your hands scalded or freezing.

I slept well, and reception service was excellent. The place was very clean but basic, though the price was fair. Parking was awkward with our tall vehicle because it wouldn't fit under the arch, so we had to walk.

I stayed at this albergue last night and got bitten all over by bedbugs, which was exactly what I had feared on the way. I’ve lost half a day washing everything I brought in the laundry room, and the bites are painful and itchy. Sadly, I’d tell people to avoid staying here.

The stone building and garden are beautiful, like something from a movie. Our two-person room was clean and orderly, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were very kind. I totally recommend it.
