Really superb.

The town of Nigüelas is lovely, with plenty to do, and you’re close to the highway and supermarkets. The house was comfortable and lovely, and worked perfectly for 12 adults and about 5 children. The pool was being renovated while we were there, but that didn’t bother us at all. Highly recommended.

The house is pretty and cozy, right in the center of town, and it sleeps quite a few people, so it worked well for a get-together with friends. There are also beautiful, easy walking routes nearby. My husband and our two daughters had a fantastic room. The attic room has a lovely terrace, though having to go downstairs to use the bathroom was a bit inconvenient. Watch out for the wooden stairs, which are a little treacherous, and the chimney pipes, which get hot.

The beds were really comfortable, and the house is spacious, with plenty of room in both the bedrooms and the living and dining areas. The small terrace is lovely too, though I wish we’d been there in summer to enjoy it. A few little things kept it from being a five-star stay: there was just one frying pan for such a large house, the hot water kept cutting out upstairs, and when it rained we had to put a bucket under an unrepaired leak. They seem like simple fixes, and without those issues it would be a five-star house.
