We came for a wedding and paid three times the price charged on other dates. They said it was because of the long weekend, but I think it was because the wedding had booked the whole hotel and we had nowhere else to go. I'd just read it was supposed to be a four-star place, but it didn't have anything you'd expect from that. No bar, restaurant or anything else. The night before the wedding, we had to bring our own food and drinks.

There is no safe in the room, and you'll need to bring food and water for the night because there's absolutely nothing there. This hotel is for people who love quiet. If you're after parties and a city hotel, it's not for you.

Cora gave us excellent care and went out of her way to make us feel at home. We visited in low season and were practically alone in the hotel. It felt magical. The other guests were looking for peace and quiet too, and we all got what we needed and more. I'm sure there's plenty of partying here in the busier months, though. The sea and mountain views are breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset, and we took a walk along the seafront. The rooms are spacious and simple, with a little fridge and a very comfortable bed. Most have a small terrace where you can take in the view. One of my favourite places in the world.

Set in nature but still close to the city, the hotel has a really special location. We watched beautiful sunsets and a sunrise, and when there weren't many clouds, we could see the stars. The rooms were tidy and nicely decorated. I really liked them.

The reception staff are very nice and helpful, and there's a basic breakfast. The room was clean, with a crazy sea view. It's quiet and calm, the best place to sleep in Spain if that's what you're after. The only downside is there's no Wi-Fi in the rooms farther away. I'll definitely be back.
