Parking was easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little outside town, but you can easily walk to the beach, harbour, and restaurants. It was quiet, and the room was basic but very comfortable, clean, and fairly spacious for this kind of place. The rest of the building was clean too. Air conditioning and a fridge were welcome, and the price felt fair for the quality. I stayed a couple of nights this week and thought it was excellent.

Brisamar is in a quiet part of the village of San Jose, but still within walking distance of what you need. Shops are about five minutes away, the beach of San Jose around seven, and cafes and restaurants take five to ten minutes. There’s a great parking option right in front. We were given a spacious, clean room with a lovely balcony and bathroom. It’s also well placed for trips to more secluded beaches like Monsul or Genovese, which we highly recommend if you enjoy getting away into nature. We loved our stay.

A straightforward place, no fuss, with a bath and shower and a balcony. Town is a five-minute walk. The staff spoke limited English, and my Spanish is very limited too, but it was a good experience.
