René always gives unbeatable service, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and pleasant. I’ve been returning for years and we always leave happy. The pool feels like a peaceful retreat, while downtown San José is only a five-minute walk away. We’re always happy here.

The staff are incredible, and everything is super clean. For a pension, it’s great. I loved the pool, and breakfast was spectacular for a reasonable extra price. I’d definitely come back.

The beach and promenade are around a 10-minute walk away, and you can use the hotel pool. Prices are reasonable, the facilities are clean, and the staff are friendly. The room was a little small, though the bathroom was fine.
