Doña Nieves

We paid €8 for the buffet breakfast, which was quite basic for the price. There are two breakfast options. The room itself was basic but roomy, with a very comfortable bed. There's no air conditioning, though we had cloudy weather and it wasn't too hot. We couldn't open the windows because of the outside noise, and the shower only had a handwashing dispenser, so we missed having basic toiletries.

We felt very well looked after throughout our stay, especially through the personal attention from the staff. Naty, Ceci, Mónica, and everyone else were attentive, helpful with any problems, flexible, and very friendly. I was there as a guide with a large group, so I'm speaking for more than just myself. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are very clean, and the location is great, with everything close by in Noreña and Oviedo, Gijón, and other lovely places nearby. I highly recommend staying here and hope to return soon.

Damarys deserves a special mention. She's lovely, checks that everything is just right, and makes sure you're comfortable and have what you need. The staff work incredibly hard and treat guests so wonderfully that you feel right at home. I'm on the third floor, where my bathroom has a skylight. I get a kick out of watching pigeons land on it. The windows are thick, the room is cozy, and the cleanliness is excellent, which matters a lot to me. There's a large flat-screen TV, a wardrobe, and a desk. Some parts of the room have a low ceiling because it's on the third floor, but that didn't bother me. The food is very good too. I didn't expect much after reading the reviews, since hotels in the north aren't like those on the coast, but I was pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend this hotel. The one thing I missed was a small fridge in the room.

We left with lovely memories of Asturias and Noreña. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and professional, and they were especially attentive to food intolerances. Since we needed gluten-free food, they offered alternatives, including a proper dessert rather than just the usual fruit. We also had delicious fabada and pote. A very good experience, with comfortable rooms. Thank you!
