HolaCamp Camino

My family and I stayed in one of the houses, sharing a big living room and kitchen with another couple from Portugal. Our room was large and nice, and the bathroom was spacious. We didn't get to use much else on site, just our room and the building, plus the taxi service to dinner at the restaurant owned by the same people. Still, it was a very nice stay and well worth it.

The cabin felt private, quiet, and secure, and the big pool was beautifully refreshing at a perfect temperature. There's also a private hot tub on the cabin deck. The breakfast basket brought to the cabin had everything, though the setup felt a little awkward. I'd rather have all the cabins go to a breakfast room. The stay itself was relaxing and comfortable.

We were staying outside town, which made getting there and back difficult. There was confusion over our room, and our bag never got delivered. The picnic breakfast was also missing when promised, so we had to search for it.

The cabin felt like a secluded treehouse, raised on stilts among the forest canopy, with big windows and a wooden terrace furnished with wicker chairs. Inside, the whitewashed pine, Jacuzzi tub, soft sheets, and comfortable bed made it feel clean, spacious, and lovely. Dinner and breakfast were delivered to the room, and lots of things were homemade. I especially liked the homemade cheesecake and chocolate bombons. There were basic utensils and coffee and tea in the room, and they helped me arrange an in-room massage by sharing a few therapist numbers. The grounds had broad lawns, a pool, playground, and little trails. You can use a fireplace for nine euros. The front desk closes from 2 to 5, there isn't a restaurant on site, and they ask you to order food ahead, but ordering on WhatsApp was easy. There was an extra blanket in the corner, though the bed was warm and comfortable. One of the easiest five-star ratings I've given.
