The hosts were generally pleasant, and I can see the potential for this to be a great stay. At the moment, though, it needs more care than it's getting. It didn't seem to be cleaned often between guests, and there were signs of bed bug activity. Towels have to be bought, so bear that in mind. I posted this same review on booking.com, and I assume the establishment had it removed.
The albergue has a sociable feel, with plenty of seats in the shared area, and it's right in the centre. In the dorms, they even supplied camping chairs, which was a nice touch. The bunk beds are so low that you have to hunch over while sitting on the bottom one, though, and the kitchen doesn't have much equipment. Honestly, the place is kind of grimy.
I liked how the bedrooms, kitchen, and bathrooms were kept separate, and there was even a spot in the hall for shoes. The kitchen is small but lovely, with windows, and the shower area is spacious. My bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. It's right on the Camino, the host was super friendly, and I could use a small clothes dryer for free, which I loved.
The staff and amenities were great. Just check whether a festival is happening outside before you book. I think the one I ran into runs from August to September, and my bed was literally shaking from the noise. I didn't sleep at all, even though ordinary earplugs are usually enough for me. It wasn't the hostel's fault, and I wish I'd looked into it for my own sake. Other festivals seem fairly common here too, so it's worth checking. Again, the staff were great and the amenities were good.
A really good spot for a night on the Camino, close to grocery shops, cafes, and pharmacies. The owner was lovely and accommodating. The beds were nice and came with sheets and pillowcases, and laundry and drying cost €3 altogether.
