The dinner Isabel made was better than meals we had at Michelin-starred restaurants, and the whole stay made us very happy. The rooms were roomy, and my window looked out over green fields with sheep grazing in the distance. We also appreciated the outdoor clothesline, handy for the four of us who didn't want to use laundry service. Manuel n Isabel were so helpful, and he kindly offered to take us to buy essentials. Their lodge had a lot of character. Well done!

We had such a lovely stay near the end of our Camino. The couple made us feel very welcome and were so warm with us. Dinner was healthy and tasty, and breakfast offered plenty to choose from: fruit, yoghurt, toast, fried eggs, ham, cheese and jam.

The rooms were wonderfully quiet, and we slept so well. Our hosts cooked a delicious Galician dish for dinner, then gave us a hearty breakfast before the last stretch of the Camino. The place itself is beautiful and rustic. We also had the best Spanish breakfast of our whole Camino here, with fresh eggs and delicious coffee. Would highly recommend!

The house is charming and full of history, and the food was delicious at dinner and again at breakfast the next morning. We picked this as a treat away from the Camino, and it exceeded our expectations. From being collected to being dropped back the next morning, the whole experience was lovely. Manolo and Maribel treated us like long-lost family, and invited us to relax in the garden while they brought cold drinks, cheese, fruit and crackers. A great place to unwind and enjoy genuine Galician hospitality and food.

What a lovely place, such a warm welcome and lovely food. APdeA is a peaceful haven, well worth the detour from the Camino. We could have stayed for two nights, one before and one after walking from Arzua to O Pedrouzo, if we'd thought of it.
