Cal Roig felt like a quiet oasis in the middle of the Penedés wine district, just right for slowing down while exploring the area. Silvia also cooks authentic dishes in her own kitchen, which added a lot to the experience. She knows wine and pairing inside out, and shares what she knows in a way that makes it easy for anyone to learn something, whatever their starting point. We were on a tight schedule, and she managed to arrange a visit to the Cava Hill vineyard and a tasting of three wines on the same day. We were very happy with that choice. We had an amazing time visiting Silvia In Cal Roig, and have already recommended a stay to friends and family, including people who know plenty about wine. We’ll definitely return.

We’ve just arrived and the service has been amazing. Martha is so kind and helpful, she’s helped us with absolutely everything. The rooms are nice and cozy, and it’s clean, peaceful and affordable. Wine tastings cost 18-20€, with different wines and pairing options at different prices. Pool hours are 8-10.

We arrived very late in the evening, and the owner made a great dinner just for us. The rooms were really nice and super clean, with large bathrooms, and breakfast was superb too. Our host spoke perfect English and a little German, which can’t be taken for granted in Spain. We felt welcome and cared for every moment. Loved our stay and will definitely come back when we’re in the area. Thank you!

We came across this place through Masia Sumidors. Tasting five ecological wines from Penedés by their beautiful pool was a real treat. Silvia is an amazing host, and her passion and knowledge of wine made the experience feel unique. The cellar has been renovated wonderfully. Highly recommend!

Cal Roig was a wonderful stay. The facilities are beautiful and new, and Silvia and Marta were really nice. We also loved the great breakfast and swimming pool. Highly recommend!
