Camping Pepe

A great, affordable stay. The facilities were clean, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The bays were spacious enough even for large caravans, and the beach restaurant onsite was surprisingly good.

We left after waiting 15 minutes in the office without anyone even asking if we wanted to stay. They don’t seem to need customers, so I took two stars off. The receptionist was struggling to sort out payment for some long-term stays. She could at least have asked why we were there, told us she’d be another 30 minutes, or checked us in quickly. It was also odd how long an invoice took. Next door at Camping Olé, there was no wait, a super friendly check-in, the same availability, and essentially the same spot with direct beach access.

NOT FOR DOG LOVERS. After a long six hour drive, with breaks for our dogs, we hoped to stay one night in our Campervan, from about 8pm until around 8am. Things seemed fine until I mentioned our three very well behaved Labradors and went to get their pet passports. Then the receptionist said they only accept one large and two small dogs at most. I explained they’d just sleep and we’d leave, but she still said no, after first asking how much they weighed 🤣🤔. We’ve stayed lots of places with them and they’re no problem, just sit and watch the world go by. Don’t come here if you love taking your dogs on holiday.

The food was tasty, especially the onion rings, and dogs are allowed on the terrace overlooking the beach. The location is beautiful. Service was a bit chaotic, but everyone was super friendly.
