Oliva Nova Golf Apartamentos y Villas

The apartment itself was perfect, but our Dutch riding team had three robberies in two days. Jewellery and money were stolen, with some thefts happening without a break-in. That suggests someone had a key. They really need to address this, maybe with cameras or an alarm.

The beach is just nearby!

We had a great experience from beginning to end. The apartment we rented, the building, and its facilities were all perfect. Reception was excellent, and they responded immediately to our only request. My only suggestion is to revisit the cleaning and linen policy. For stays longer than 5-7 days, it would be good to include at least one cleaning and one linen change at no extra cost. We're looking forward to staying longer next time, and we'll be back 😊

The beaches around there were even better than I’d heard, and we found a quiet stretch just an 8-minute drive from the apartment. We were told it’s about a 10-minute walk too. We’d happily return to the area, which we really liked. Oliva is a good choice for lunch or dinner: the places we tried were lovely and tasty, and better value than the ones along the coast. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment at Hoyo 17 with our twins and were very comfortable. It was new, nicely furnished, and well equipped. The development itself is great, especially the fantastic pool. The children’s pool is very shallow, so it works well for families. There isn’t much to do within the complex on foot, though. A small shopping center with places to eat, a pharmacy, and a supermarket is about a 15-minute walk away, but with the kids we ended up driving everywhere. There are also a couple of beach bars at the resort. They’re a bit pricey for mostly rice dishes, sandwiches, and similar food, but it’s still worth going at least once to eat right by the beach.
