Nice.

We ended up here because it was a holiday and all the restaurants on our list were closed. They told us the kitchen didn't open until 13h30, so we waited and had a beer before being called into the dining room. Compared with the other places we'd tried in Olivenza, the prices were quite a bit higher, which was disappointing. The food was good and there was plenty of it. We didn't care for the wine by the glass, though that's just personal taste.

My wife and I stopped for lunch before heading back to Seville. The food, drinks, and dessert were all very good, but both card terminals went offline when we tried to pay. I don't blame the restaurant for the outage, but we were kept waiting for over 20 minutes, with no coffee even offered. They seemed concerned only with getting paid, and the delay pushed our return trip back by almost half an hour. Owners in this industry need to show more consideration. We're people who come to enjoy your food, return when we like it, and recommend places, but not after an experience like this. What could have been a good meal left a bad taste. Without professionalism in this wonderful industry, we'll end up eating at home.

We went as a party of three on a recommendation, and it lived up to it. The partridge salad was exquisite, and the octopus with prawns and potatoes was very good too. We'll be back.
