I loved the evening meal, and the chef is excellent. Breakfast was plentiful too. This is a really good family-run 3-star hotel, and it’s a treat to stay here. There are kitchens on each floor for guests, plus laundry facilities in a room you can access with a key. Cyclists and walkers are welcome, with plenty of bike storage in the downstairs garage. There’s a supermarket and pharmacy nearby. A good base for the area if you’re cycling, on a motorbike, or travelling. Nothing to dislike.

The restaurant deserves a big plus, whether you’re there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It’s a small hostel, close to the city center but a little outside it, and calm enough for two nights. Staff were very kind and willing to help; the bedroom was clean and felt safe. Good value for money, and for a 2/3-star place, it does the job.

The room and bathroom were spacious, with a refrigerator in the room and a nice balcony. There’s also a roomy garden with places to sit. Breakfast was nice. We were very pleased with the small, sincere, friendly staff, and would recommend it.

The bed was far too hard. After sleeping on my side, my hip went numb. The room had everything we needed, including a lovely big en suite bathroom. It’s old-fashioned, but clean, and the location is great for the volcano Park.

I slept very poorly and was sweating all night. The air conditioning didn’t work, and the whole room smelled like a sewer from fumes coming up from the shower drain. The hotel needs maintenance: the linoleum is bubbling in the hallways, and the balcony doors open onto a noisy street.
