The simple breakfast was a nice extra, though one of the two coffee makers wasn't working. I loved having a little private room, and the whole house felt so cosy. It's a large traditional house in the old town.

The breakfast isn't worth commenting on. Everything felt shabby and poorly maintained, there was no hot water in the bathroom, and the bathroom lock was broken. One of us got locked inside.

We were glad we found this place, especially since bed and breakfasts have become so expensive. It was the cheapest option we found and very comfortable, with a wonderful breakfast. Martha, the receptionist, was delightful and recommended a fantastic restaurant, ‘el olivio’ down the road. We had the family room to ourselves, with a very comfy mattress, and the place was peaceful and very clean.

The kitchen isn't set up for cooking. There's only a hotplate, and it takes forever to heat half a liter of water. I won't even get into what else is missing.

The woman was so kind and quick to help when we had an issue with the keys. We were still able to bring our bikes inside without any trouble. We set off from Olvera to ride the Camino de Santiago, the border route, and everything went smoothly. I'd recommend her to any pilgrims taking on this fantastic route.
