There’s plenty of parking right out front, and breakfast compares well with other hotels in Onate. The breakfast service was very good too, thanks to the lady who served us. The restaurant food was good enough, though pricier than similar places. At reception there’s a minibar with cold drinks and coffee, but only the coffee is free. The room cleanliness needs work. I had a really bad five-day stay and slept two of the five nights with strange bugs in the room, including on the bed. I don’t want to share the photos. For the price and quality, I’d give it less than 10%.

I’m here for my second stay, and the food is still out of this world. Last time I had octopus salad, steak, and sheep’s milk panna cotta. This time it’s mushroom ravioli, turbot, and, I think, hazelnut and chocolate torte. I’d highly recommend trying the restaurant while it’s still a high-quality, low-price gem. The food deserves Michelin star prices, and one day you might have to pay them.
