Cortijo La Julia

The host was very helpful, and the rooms were wonderful.

We were a mountain biking group and couldn't have asked for better logistical support for exploring the heart of the Sierra. The service was professional and friendly, and everything was clean and very well kept. The breakfasts were luxurious, and the food was spectacular. If you order a paella from Ramón, it's even better than Valencian paella. The Sierra de Segura is an inland paradise, and staying in places like these makes the trip a sure success. We stayed at both Cortijo la Julia and Balcón de Julieta. They each have their own charm, and we loved both. We'll definitely repeat the experience.

The views are just a small sample of what you can see, and in winter there are occasional snow-capped mountains. The service is excellent, and we'll definitely be back. There's plenty of capacity for guests, making it a good fit for events and weddings. There are two houses, a more rustic main one and a more modern, noticeably more luxurious one beside the pool. The only real drawback I found was the entrance: you need to turn onto a road just after a sharp bend, with limited visibility. I could go on about the good points.

We were delighted to be among the first guests at Balcón de Julieta country house in Orcera for our family Christmas. The place was spacious and cozy, impeccably maintained, and had spectacular views. The host was attentive and so welcoming, making us feel at home right from the start.
