Veronica was so kind and welcoming, and even waited for me when I said I might arrive late, though she’d already sent the key codes and check-in details. After my longest Camino Inglés stage, the 30 km walk from Betanzos to A Rua, she surprised me by upgrading my room to an apartment. It was a lovely gesture after such a tiring day. The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable, and felt safe. The setting was pleasant too, in a typical Galician house. I wish I could’ve stayed longer, and hope to come back for a longer holiday. I’d recommend it to Camino pilgrims and anyone wanting a comfortable Galician home stay. Thank you, Veronica, for your warm hospitality. We paid extra for breakfast and it was fantastic. The hosts and staff were kind and helpful, and the bathroom was super clean. They’ve thought of all the little things that make you comfortable. Our room was huge, with a separate kitchen and lounge. There were heated floors, electronically closing skylights in the bedroom, and blackout blinds in the lounge. The property is gorgeous, with tables and chairs in a lovely garden. Honestly, this is our favourite casa stay anywhere in the world. There are cheaper options nearby, but nothing else was as fabulous for us.

A few small places to eat are close by, and there’s a nice garden where you can unwind. The rooms are comfortable, the WiFi works really well, and the host was lovely and helpful. A very nice home stay, especially if you’re walking the Camino.

Breakfast was superb, with homemade eggs, bacon, cakes, coffee, and fresh-pressed juices. Veronica was also such a lovely, accommodating host while we travelled through this little area on our Camino Inglés pilgrimage. This was our favourite stop on the whole Camino, and I’d highly recommend it.

After a long day walking, we loved unwinding in Veronica’s peaceful garden with a bottle of Albarino. She’s definitely the hostess with the mostess. Breakfast was just right too, with one of the best coffees on the trail.
