Everything was very clean, and the staff and food were very good. The parking felt secure, was clean and dry, but cost a lot. The new room had no privacy curtains, so it was either dark or exposed, and there were no spare sockets by the table or beds. The bedside lights were strange because you had to aim them at the walls. In the shower there was nowhere to hang the handheld shower head, making it awkward to wash without getting your hair wet. The supplied soap and shampoo weren’t labeled to say which was which.

The restaurant serves really tasty food, and the rooms are very nice. It’s a beautiful hotel.

The hotel is modern, and the room was nice and clean. The reception staff’s manner and professionalism left a lot to be desired for a four-star place. Housekeeping was noisy early in the morning and knocked on the door several times before checkout time. For one night it was fine, but the service didn’t feel like four-star quality, and I thought the price was too high for what we got.

The rooms were clean and tidy, and the hotel looks brand new. At Amazonia, the hotel café-restaurant, service and breakfast were disappointing. I ordered a ham and tomato sandwich for €13.50 and waited about 20 minutes, despite being alone. It was mostly tomato with just a little ham. Breakfast was included, but when I asked for fruit they said there wasn’t any, so I had lukewarm, weak coffee and toast with olive oil. I didn’t risk ordering another coffee. It’s advertised as a four-star hotel, but I don’t think it deserves that rating.

The location works well for exploring the city, and the hotel covers the basics: clean rooms, a comfortable bed, and capable staff. Breakfast is limited, some facilities could use updating, and there’s nothing especially memorable about the place. It was fine, just not outstanding.
