There were cobwebs and ants in the room, and the furniture was old and broken. While I was asleep, I fell onto the floor. I weigh 55 kg, but they said it wasn’t the hostel’s problem. I stayed one night, then moved elsewhere. The service was unpleasant, and when I went to pay they insisted on cash. I didn’t have any, so I paid by card, which the owner accepted rudely.

It’s cheap, and the woman who runs the hostel is really friendly and ready to help with whatever you need. There’s also a bar next door where you can eat well. Just be aware that it smells strongly of tobacco, so it’s not a good choice if you don’t like smoking.

They can give you a discount or a free night if you stay longer than a week, and the place is accessible for disabled guests. It’s a friendly, family-run hostel, and the receptionist speaks fluent German and French, plus a little English. Calling them directly usually gets you a lower rate. I recommend it.
