There’s loads of room for children to play, and since the country house is tucked among orchards, you won't disturb anyone. It has all the amenities, including a pool, several freezers, a barbecue and air conditioning in every bedroom. The only small drawback is limited parking if you bring several cars, but there's plenty of open countryside where you can park.

The grounds are lovely, and the expanded garden and improvements around the pool are much appreciated and enjoyable. But check the sheets: I found more than 10 hairs on my bed. We rented the house for a celebration, first for Saturday and Sunday, then added Friday when the event changed. We paid for the extra day, and everything seemed fine. Since it was an event, we were told we could only use the outdoor areas unless we paid for bedrooms, which would otherwise stay locked. We later needed rooms for visiting family. They quoted €50 per room or €160 for all four, so we agreed to all four. When we picked up the keys on Friday, we were told the house had been rented for Sunday too. We had rented the entire weekend. We were holding an event Saturday and had no idea when it would finish, then were expected to get up Sunday, pack cameras, tables and chairs, take down decorations, and leave for incoming guests. We were furious. This seemed like a major communication or organization failure that could have been avoided. They then said that getting the keys Friday meant paying for two nights in the rooms, and that the €160 covered only one night. We had already paid over €400 for the exterior plus €160 for one night, and they wanted another €160. We thought that was outrageous and said we didn't want the rooms at that price. In the end, we agreed to leave as early as possible Sunday, packed everything up quickly and notified them. Make sure you understand what you're agreeing to. The place is run by a married couple, so if you speak with one of them, make sure the other knows too. These misunderstandings seem to come from poor communication.

I have to reply this way because the site won't let me add text to my previous review. My review was meant to inform people. I try to offer constructive criticism and, when I can, suggestions for improvements. The website asked about my experience, so I shared it. To make sure I wasn't accused of making things up, I went back through all our WhatsApp conversations, starting in March 2017 when we booked. Those messages show we reserved Friday through Sunday. They said the house would be handed back Sunday after the event, once we had cleaned up, and they show the price we agreed on. 1. At first we asked about renting the house Saturday and Sunday, and were quoted €360. Later, when we asked to add Friday, they said €400. I have the WhatsApp messages to prove that. 2. To give you credit, you did agree to let us into the house Thursday night so we could bring in and switch on the cameras. 3. We ONLY used the house to sleep on Saturday night, when we needed it. We had no issue with the rooms being locked on Friday since we weren't sleeping there then. If we couldn't reach an agreement, we were also fine with you refunding the €160 we paid for one night and keeping the rooms locked. But we needed to enter the house's exterior area on Friday to reload the cameras, decorate, and so on. NOT TO SLEEP. 4. Our messages say we would hand over the house as soon as we had finished cleaning. At the key handover on Friday, you told us it had been rented for Sunday. We spent over an hour discussing how to sort out the misunderstanding, but you never said we had to leave at 12:00. Even so, we got up early and called the rental service about picking up the tables, chairs, camera and other items as soon as possible. We collected everything we could and left the house in the best condition we could for your booking. As I said, what happened didn't match the original agreement, which we have in writing. 5. I don't doubt the sheets were professionally laundered. Still, the bed I slept in had several hairs, short and long, and brown. I'm sure I was the only one who slept there. If I'd known my word would be questioned, I would have taken photos. This can happen in any house, hotel or apartment. I'm not saying the place isn't clean, just that it's worth checking. I'm sorry you didn't like my comment or opinion. As I said, I was asked, and I described my experience as it happened. I don't lie, and I like to be able to read other people's opinions when deciding whether to visit somewhere. I tried to make mine detailed enough to help future visitors and give you ideas for improvements. Thank you.
