Palmera Beach by Renthas

Avoid this place. The staff were rude, the standards were zero, and they charged extra money. Hotel La Monte was excellent.

It’s a long way from the city, but the views here are nice.

The pool is great fun, and there’s a beautiful beach just a minute’s walk away. There’s also a large outdoor shopping centre nearby. The staff are friendly and try their best to communicate in whatever language you speak. The apartments are clean and well equipped. Our cooker didn’t work, and the restaurant wasn’t the best quality, which kept it from getting five stars. Still, we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

The apartment was clean and adequate, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. But the beds were really uncomfortable, and the night entertainment was a huge problem for us. It started at 10:30 pm and went on until midnight at full volume by the pool. The building carries the sound everywhere, and our two children couldn’t fall asleep. It ruined the holiday. I’ll never come back, which is a shame because Pilar de la Horadada is gorgeous.
