I'm late getting this review up, but we had such a wonderful stay about a month ago. Breakfast was incredible, with four kinds of handmade pastries every morning, and the owner was friendly and so helpful. We had a beautiful room in a really cute little town. This stay made our trip, and I'd say Ormaiztegi is worth visiting just for this place.

A great overnight stop on a cycle tour. The bikes can be kept securely, the beds are super comfortable, and the shower was great. Breakfast was tasty too, and the owner was friendly and helpful.

We loved how peaceful it was, and the pastry selection at breakfast was fabulous. The Via Verde Ormaiztegi-Mutiloa is a terrific walking trail nearby. It's an easy 10-minute walk from the Cercanias train stop, and Beasain has lots of places to eat just one stop away. A friendly host makes this a lovely weekend escape or base for exploring Gipuzkoa. The host was so welcoming and kind, and helped us with everything we needed. The hotel is beautiful, and everything feels clean and new. Breakfast was amazing. Truly recommended!
