The pool area was the only clean part. The rest left a lot to be desired. We were told to arrive at 2:00 PM, but the offices didn’t open until 5:00 PM. I wanted to check in earlier, and a woman had called the day before to say we should go to the offices to see if anything was available. When I did, they acted as if I’d made it up and said no one could have told me that because the offices opened at 5:00 PM. We finally got into the apartments at 6:30 PM. On our departure day, at 9:30 AM, a woman rang the bell and said she was the cleaner. I told her I wasn’t ready to leave yet. Check-in time apparently doesn’t matter, but they’re very polite and punctual when it’s time for you to go! We first rented two apartments, and both were in terrible shape. When we reported the many defects, they said we couldn’t complain until 24 hours had passed. Seriously? The emergency number went unanswered too. The front door wouldn’t close unless I held the doorknob. We rented for five people, but there weren’t even five dishes. Everything was in poor condition: rubbish from the previous tenants was still on the terrace, there was a dog ball under the bed, and dirty sheets had been rolled up in a closet. The air conditioning only worked at 16°C, and a clothes peg was holding the vents in place. It seemed broken as well. The bathroom tiles were cracked, a kitchen cupboard door was hanging off its hinges despite having glass in the middle, and the shower door came off its track if opened too far. I could go on, but the manager called it minor damage and said we could go elsewhere because that was just how it was. I’d like to know if she’d call it minor while staying in the apartment herself. It’s expensive for what you get and I can’t recommend it. After we reported everything, they fixed the toilet roll holder, then the next day removed a bathroom tile and the kitchen cupboard door. For anyone checking, the ball should still be in the double bedroom, the stroller on the terrace, and the sheet in the single-bed wardrobe. With cleaning like this, I’m sure they’re still there. One of the apartments was number 161, on the fourth floor of building 4.

We booked four nights for €100 per night and have spent two so far. We’re already keen to leave. The air conditioning is broken, and the bathroom has mold. The drawers are damaged, the walls are damp and filthy, and the fridge is disgusting. We called the company’s emergency line, Apcostas, 25-30 times, but they either don’t answer or hang up. When we got the keys, they told us any damage had to be reported within 24 hours. But to whom? Which email address or phone number? Nobody picks up. We’re staying in apartment 48 at Torremar in Oropesa with two two-year-olds, and paying for these conditions is unacceptable. I’m documenting everything. If they don’t sort it out, we’ll file a complaint. That’s my humble opinion.

The apartment was really comfortable and came fully equipped. It’s in a peaceful area, just a short walk from the supermarket and close to the beach. I’d definitely stay there again.
