A great-value little place for a business stay. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff friendly. It’s close to everything in the old town, including the business and banking area, and suits anyone working there or enjoying the charm of Oropesa village. It’s about a 15-minute walk back from the beach area. I’d have appreciated a vending machine for drinks, since a bottle of water or a can of Coke would’ve been handy late at night when most places were shut. More facilities would be nice, but for the money and location it’s a great place.

I rarely post reviews, but I want other guests to know how this went. I had a competition in Oropesa and got injured two days beforehand. When I asked to cancel because of that unexpected setback, the hostel refused. I was really disappointed by how they treated me and how little understanding they showed. I hope nobody else has to deal with the same thing.

We only booked this place so we could stay near family with an apartment close by. The room had just three outlets in 2024, and one was taken up by the TV. The walls were paper thin, the service was cold, and the place felt old, shabby, and dirty. We think we may have bedbugs, and with the poor cleanliness and room amenities, I wouldn't be surprised. I'd only return if I had to hide from the law. I doubt even the police would want to come in.
