The house could be spectacular, but it felt pretty mediocre and neglected. It needs a full overhaul, from repainting and sorting the damp walls to replacing the kitchen tap. There was damp in the bedrooms and bathrooms, and although each bedroom has its own bathroom, some showers are so cramped they’d be difficult unless you’re hobbit-sized. We stayed over Carnival weekend as three couples with children. The setting was lovely, the house was spacious, the mattresses were comfortable, the heating worked well, and the staff were attentive. The living room fireplace was a real highlight. The barbecue area was badly lit, with just one spotlight, so we needed a flashlight to tell whether the meat was cooked. The stone or cement ground also turns muddy when it rains. There weren’t enough glasses, and the ones provided were small. Even the breakfast cups were tiny. The shed with the foosball and ping-pong tables was puzzling. Both tables should be thrown out, and the place is full of old junk. It’s a risk with children around, since they touch and climb on everything. The area needs to be enclosed or repaired. I understand the house is geared more towards groups of friends and bachelor or bachelorette parties, but these things need attention.

We went with friends and children, and had a fantastic time. The garden was wonderful, our dogs could enjoy it, and the kids made the most of the pool. The setting was great for barbecuing and relaxing, and we’ll be back. The house is welcoming, attractive, spacious, and laid out well. It had everything we needed, including a washing machine, microwave, kitchenware, and refrigerator. Everything was spotless, and the service was excellent. I’d absolutely recommend it.

The garden is pleasant, but it wasn’t comfortable for relaxing, and the price didn’t feel worth it. The house is poorly maintained and has very little furniture. The towels are old, and the so-called double bed is an old, stretched-out futon that wasn’t even suitable for one person to sleep on.

The garden gives children a great place to play, and the surroundings are really pleasant. There’s plenty of room in the dining area for a group, plus a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom for each room. A lovely spot for a few quiet days, highly recommended.

We’ve stayed here twice now, and both visits have been unforgettable. There’s loads of room and plenty to do, including table football and ping pong. The peaceful surroundings are spectacular, and we’ll definitely come back for a third visit.
