The staff were efficient and friendly, the hotel was spotless, and Diageo the Manager was especially welcoming. Restaurants, bars, and the beach are all very central. We had a basic room with a tiny balcony, so I’d upgrade if we return. Breakfast was simple, with coffee, croissants, toast, or cake, but we had to pay for extra coffees. It’s rated two stars, though I’d give it three. I’d recommend it and plan to come back. Thanks, Diageo.

The staff were amazingly friendly. It’s well placed in town, with easy access to the beaches and buses to O Grove.

It was quiet despite being near the center, and the room was spacious and comfortable. Everything is close by and well connected. There’s parking, which needs to be reserved, and that’s much appreciated in Portonovo. Staff at reception and breakfast were very attentive. The hotel is well cared for, and the cleanliness was impeccable.

We came back after 17 years and were pleasantly surprised. The staff were super friendly, the place was very clean, and breakfast was spectacular. We’ll definitely return.
