Tu Casa en Portonovo

After booking the same apartment every Easter for three years, we were surprised to find it had already been taken. Elisa, the host, had told us she didn't accept bookings until these dates. When we said goodbye in August, we told her to count on us again and that we'd talk about the booking later. Then in March, after we'd requested our holidays around her apartment, we called and she said it was already reserved. I think the booking management was unprofessional and she didn't keep her word, especially after we'd been returning customers. We called to discuss it and try to sort things out, but she ended up hanging up on us when we told her the way she'd handled it was unprofessional. I consider that disrespectful to a customer.

Elisa was kind and attentive throughout our stay. The washing machine broke one night, and she had a new one for us the next morning. The apartment was bright and pleasant, and absolutely spotless. The photos gave that impression too, and they weren't misleading. Cleanliness matters all the time, especially during a pandemic. It's outside the village center, which we appreciated, but we didn't need a car at all. The center and beach were both two minutes away. For me, the location was perfect. I usually rent a beach apartment every summer, but none has been like this one. A ten!

Really nice place, with a charming owner. The apartment was very clean and everything looked lovely. Just a short walk from central Portonovo.

It feels just like being at home.
