Nuvó Hotel Boutique

Getting to most of Oviedo's main sights is easy from here, and there are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Just allow about a 20-minute walk to the train or coach station. The hotel is newly built, and our room was fantastic, with a corner view and plenty of storage. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom spacious, and it had everything you'd expect from a four-star place. The walls kept out noise well, even with a construction site next door, and the triple curtains made the room completely dark. One small annoyance was the little smoke detector light blinking above the bed all night, right where you couldn't avoid seeing it. We'd definitely stay again when we're back in Oviedo.

The only drawback was looking out at the construction site next door, but the location made up for it. It's a great base for seeing Oviedo, with comfortable, very clean rooms. Parking was easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We loved staying here.

The beds were very comfortable, the shower was great, and the towels felt luxurious. Staff were really helpful, and the price was very reasonable. A well located, excellent hotel, highly recommended.

We slept so well that I was still in bed close to 9 a.m. The beds and pillows were the best we had in Spain. Our spacious, clean two-bedroom unit had two full bathrooms and a lovely view of the cathedral spires. The one thing that bothered us at night was the bright blue light on the AC control panel. Even a towel over it didn't block it completely. The staff were especially kind. When we asked how to get to the cathedral, the front desk man came outside with us, explained the route in detail, and pointed out the easier streets to walk. The location is also handy, with a supermarket downstairs and nearly all the main sights less than a 10-minute walk away. Finding the entrance took a little figuring out. You go in through the same driveway as the supermarket's underground parking. Use the white-lined spaces, not the blue ones, which belong to other businesses in the building. The walk from the white spaces to the hotel elevator isn't long, but it's a bit of a hike with heavy bags, so I'd ask for a luggage cart beforehand. Whenever we return to Oviedo, NUVÓ Hotel Boutique will be our first choice.
