We stayed in La Xisqueta on the ground floor. It has three bedrooms, plenty of space for four and room for up to six, plus a fully equipped kitchen, heating, Wi-Fi, an iron, and a hairdryer. The house has three apartments, one on each floor. Outside there's a playground with swings, a barbecue grill, another covered barbecue area, and lots of tables and chairs. The setting at the foot of Turbón Mountain is spectacular, and the service was unbeatable. Vanesa and her family were lovely, approachable, and always happy to help. They also gave us ideas for things to see and do with the kids around the region. Casa Marquet offers some very interesting activities where children can get a firsthand look at livestock farming. We really enjoyed our visit and are keen to come back. My son keeps asking when we'll return. A practical note for anyone arriving: as of 2025, the maps are out of date near Casa Castell. They tell you to turn around, but there's nowhere to do that, so keep following the road. I'm sharing a picture that clearly shows this type of activity no longer exists. For basic supplies, Campo is the nearest center, about 12 minutes away, with everything from a pharmacy to a supermarket.

Vanesa made us feel welcome from the start and walked us through things to do nearby, including a visit to Turbón and some beautiful hiking routes. The location at the foot of the famous mountain is hard to beat, and we spent a few days there as a family. A highlight was the activity she organized about sheep, with a story and explanations about them. Getting to give water to the lambs and feed Perla the horse was especially lovely. Being around the local animals and nature made the trip feel even more special and authentic. A wonderful stay in a beautiful setting. We'll definitely be back.

We stayed for a week at the "Xisqueta" apartment at the end of August. It's peaceful and quiet, and a lovely place to explore the whole Lierp Valley. The family are lovely, and their activity introduces you to the sheep and rural life, with a chance for the children to feed the animals. Highly recommended.

This was our second time renting the whole house for our big group, 18 of us this time. The kids loved the playground, and we all had a wonderful stay. The house is lovely, with comfortable mattresses, a big living room where everyone can fit, and a great outdoor space for good weather. The service is outstanding. Highly recommended.

We came as a family and were greeted so warmly by the owners. Vanessa told us about the place's history, what it used to be like, where we were, and what we could see. She also explained a route to discover "the 10 clues 🧐" and meet the stars, "the Xisqueta sheep." The views are breathtaking, and the quiet is such a treat. Seeing the stars at night 💫🥲 feels like a privilege you shouldn't miss. In summer, there's also a swimming pool farther down the hill at affordable prices, shared with the other residents. You can find all kinds of adventure sports on the Esera River in the area, along with hiking trails and natural pools. Ask at Casa Marquet for the details. A great choice if you want to switch off and enjoy yourself.
