Apartamento Salomé

Our accommodation had been booked and paid for through Booking a year earlier, and the reservation was confirmed. Then it was canceled just two hours before check-in. We tried calling the owner all morning, but he didn't pick up. Scandalous and embarrassing behavior. I strongly advise against staying here.

The apartment was very quiet and spacious, with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a big kitchen and a work area with a laptop for working or looking things up. Bedrooms were roomy and everything was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped, with a large refrigerator and stovetop. There was also a balcony for smokers and an outdoor terrace with sun loungers and chairs. A 5-liter bottle of water and a muffin were a welcome extra. It's right in the heart of Padrón, just behind the main street along the Camino de Santiago route, with supermarkets, restaurants and other essentials only steps away. Arturo, the owner, contacts you on WhatsApp before you arrive and sends a video showing how to get in. The keys are in a box outside the door, and you call him to unlock it remotely. A spacious, calm place to rest before the Camino's final stage.

After our 28 km walk, we were due to arrive for the night on October 14, 2025, with a paid reservation. Two hours before we got there, the gentleman brazenly deleted it. We have never faced such rudeness.

Arturo was incredibly friendly when we arrived, and they had left us a muffin and water. The apartment was very comfortable for a Camino stay, with a huge bathroom and a large, convenient kitchen. My room had three single beds even though I was traveling alone.
