Arteleira Rooms are very basic, with only a microwave and no fridge or plates. The terrace still looks like a building site, with cables all over the place. It had rained, and all our things were wet, with nowhere to dry them.

This was our favorite night of the whole walk from Porto to Santiago on the Camino. It’s a cozy, comfortable place right by the trail, and just what we needed to rest and recover before the final push to the Cathedral for our Compostela.

It’s a small self-catering apartment about 2 km from Padron Town, and check-in was easy. There’s no washing machine or dryer, and the shower is small.

Arteleira Rooms is right on the Camino de Santiago, which is a big plus. It’s a rural apartment with a small living room, bathroom and one bedroom. Everything was spotless and very clean, and it had been recently renovated. The peacefulness is striking. Padrón is a bit far away, and there aren’t many restaurant options nearby, so you have to go into town. Highly recommended.

The stone house has been renovated, and the beds were really comfortable. The service was unbeatable, and there are barns and grape vines nearby that give a good bit of shade. We had a lovely stay and will be back. It’s such a good place to get away from the routine, very comfortable and clean, and the owner is so nice. They even left us a few little things in a basket.
